New Patients

Your first visit to "EXCEL" Dermatology Institute involves a few special steps so that we can get to know you. To understand what to expect, please read through this page. You'll find all the practical information you need, such as a map and directions to our office, practice hours, payment policies and more. We also describe our first visit procedures.

If this is your first appointment, please come in ten minutes early to fill out all the appropriate forms. You can also download all the registration forms on our website and complete them prior to your visit. If we are filing for your insurance, bring your insurance ID card and driver's license with you. Please be aware that some insurance companies require that a referral from your primary care physician be on file before we can schedule an office visit. We make every effort to see our patients on time, however, occasionally emergencies arise or a patient requiring more extensive care came ahead of you. Please excuse any delays. We appreciate your patience.

  1. From Bethesda, Maryland

    Take 495 South toward Tyson Comer Mall, exit off at Route 7 Leesburg Pike, exit 47 West. Stay in the left lane, go to the second light, which is Gallows Road, and tum left. Follow Gallows Road for approximately 1 1/2 miles, passed the DMV, and a total of 6 signal lights. Turn right into the parking lot immediately before the 7-Eleven convenience store. If you pass the 7-Eleven Store at the intersection of Gallows and Electric Avenue, you have gone too far. Our office is the second unit, on the second floor of the red brick building with green awnings, next to the Grand Atrium.
     
  2. From Centreville, Fairfax, Virginia
    Take 66 East, then 495 North towards Tyson Comer Mall. Exit off at Route 7 Leesburg Pike, exit 47 West. Stay in the left lane, go to the second light, which is Gallows Road, and turn left.   3. From Springfield, Annandale, Virginia

    Take 495 North towards Tysons Comer Mall; exit off at Arlington Boulevard (Route 29), heading toward Merrifield. Tum right on to Gallows Road go approximately 2 1/2 miles. Pass the Dunn Loring metro station (on the left). Pass the traffic-light intersection of Electric Avenue and Gallows; tum left onto the parking lot after the 7-Eleven convenience store. Our office is the second unit, on the second floor of the red brick building with Green awnings, next to the Grand Atrium. If you go passed the gas station on Cedar Lane and Gallows, you have gone too far.
     
  4. From Georgetown, Washington DC district

    Take 66 West, Exit off at Route 7 Leesburg Pike West, cross over teh Beltway, Rt. 495. Stay in the left lane, go to the second light, which is Gallows Road, and tum left. Follow Gallows Road for approximately 1 1/2 miles, passed the DMV, and a total of 6 signal lights. Tum right into the parking lot immediately before the 7-Eleven convenience store. If you pass the 7-Eleven Store at the intersection of Gallows and Electric Avenue, you have gone too far.
